John Wick

After retiring from the military, John Wick formed ISSL and has been fundamental to the development of its core disciplines. Melding together the two aspects of security and insurance has provided a unique offering to clients. He continues to develop new products and services to reflect the current challenges of the ISSL’s customer base.

Adrian Sutcliffe (Sooty)

Adrian Sutcliffe gained his maritime security skills while serving in the Royal Marines and with the UK’s strategic maritime interdiction unit. This expertise is complemented by his business and commercial experience. He has been mainly responsible for developing ISSLs’ “Defence Against Piracy” programme. Amongst his other responsibilities, Adrian executes International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) courses for Lloyds Register, in addition to various other ISSL security activities.

Adrian is located in the ISSL Singapore office.

Graham Isaacs

Graham Isaacs served as a Police Officer in the UK and retired with rank of Detective Chief Inspector. His service was mainly with the CID and his experience covers the management investigation of all aspects of crime, from minor offences to major investigations. He has particular experience in informant handler/controller and the management of undercover operations

Michael Chandler

Having retired from the military Michael Chandler used his skills in conflict situations, countering terrorism and security matters. He has Chaired the Monitoring Group mandated by the UN Security Council, to oversee the implementation of sanctions imposed against the Taliban and al-Qaida network, and continues to be actively involved in research, analysis and consultancy in connection with trans-national terrorism, integrated border management, national security policies and reversing radicalisation.

Oliver Prior

Oliver Priors’ career was as a Lloyds’ Broker, where he specialised in Financial Institutions and Financial Lines Insurance. Oliver researched and developed various new lines of insurance, including Alternative Risk Transfer, Captive Insurance Companies and Operational Risk for Financial Institutions. He is also the author several Consultation Papers produced for the Bank for International Settlements relating to Operational Risk in The New Basel Capital Accord.
